Robinson: Saints best corner by next season's end?

I think he will be our best CB by year end. I said that a couple months ago too.

I think he'll be our best corner as soon at camp starts.

Yea... and I'm not knocking Greer either. Greer is 30 has hit his ceiling. Robinson will be coming into his down and start peaking. If we can manage a consistent pass rush, I think he's going to ball hawk on the outside.
I'm looking forward to hearing more on Patrick too. I didn't pay too much attention to him while some of you guys were talking about him towards the tail end of last year... hopefully he can nail down that nickel spot and show upside for more. |

Robinson obviously has the talent, but I just don't think he's a very good cornerback. He's alright in pass coverage, but I haven't seen a worse tackling cornerback since Deion Sanders. His favorite move is to dive in front of the ballcarrier and hope he trips him.

Greer had his fair share of Sanders-like tackles, as did Jenkins. |

I agree that none of our cornerbacks were laying the wood... but I firmly believe that Robinson was the worst tackler on the team. Hopefully he'll get some form-tackling tips this offseason.
