Patrick Robinson is a good CB if you think allowing every pass to be completed to his man. I mean he had what, 3 passes defensed the whole freakin year? The INT's he got were not because of great CB play or making a play on the ball, they were thrown right at him instead of the reciever. Johnny Patrick has shown more talent in the limited PT he's had. But hey, believe what you want.

Not sure if this was directed at me or not. So I'll re-state that I think Robinson has the talent to be good, but his inconsistency, especially trying to tackle, holds him back.

I agree.

If one thinks Robinson was a terrible tackler, I'm not sure there would be a term to describe Porter.

47 tackles, 4 interceptions, 15 passes defended; I'd say that's pretty decent numbers considering

With the key word being press, as in PRESS coverage not 15 yards away from the recievers

Cornerbacks: A Glance at the 2011 Numbers | ProFootballFocus.com
Ease back Danno, I like Robinson don't get me wrong ( although to be honest I like Johnny Patrick better if he can stay healthy) Forgive me if I'm not the first to the drink station to get the Robinson "Root Beer" ( kool aid would have done if his last name weren't Robinson). If he becomes that first round steal like you suggest I will probably be more open to it though! BTW do you think they already know Jabari will get injured at somepoint this season and that's why there working out the Falcons corner.

I see it as just looking for depth; we lost Porter and most likely Torrence will not be resigned.

Greer is our number one for a reason. He covers well usually makes tackles and is always the first there in support. He makes the uniform look good. Patrick and Patrick are worth about the same to me .jmho
