He should be hauled to the slammer for impersonating a defensive coordinator the second half of last season. The fantasies of all of the newscasters wishing for something sensational to blabber on about would have been forever trashed if his speech would have said, "We need to allow the head to take a stroll twenty eight yards down the sidelines and score a touchdown", instead of him saying to remove it. Big difference between what was said and what really happened.

.. yeah, bring up criminal charges... then boxers can be charged with assault and battery, NASCAR drivers can be charged with attempted vehicular manslaughter...
The article is nothing but lawyers doing what lawyers do: trying to figure out/dreaming of more ways to realize billable hours. |

Anyway, Williams will be in court at some point. I doubt he'll plead guilty. |

Now all locker room meetings will be monitored and paperwork will have to be signed promissing not to promote any violence on the FOOTBALL field.
I'm on the verge of thinking that their is a conspiracy to destroy football to further wussify this country. Defense will be nothing more than like the bumbers in billards. Just taking up a space on the field. |

This is all just fodder to grab readership. If there was a crime committed then at least one agency would have looked into earlier (like when the NFL started it's investigation). Anything now just strikes me as sensationalism or posturing. Plus I don't actually see where one could make a criminal case, or better put, prove a case in court. GW more than deserves a lifetime ban from professional football (okay, sports in general) and probably should have been fined by the league (IMO) but criminal charges, not likely. But maybe there is just too much hockey in my blood.
