Just How is Haz doing ?

First off....it is not a matter of Brooks bashing without cause. It is deserved.

Sure, Brooks deserves some criticism. But, as saintfan points out, let\'s share the wealth. I said earlier that Saints fans are typical. They give too much credit, or in this case, too much blame.

He is not the sole reason for our poor performance. I still feel Haz has put too much faith in a guy with few leadership abilities and poor decision making skills.

Maybe I\'m reading more in to what you\'re saying here. But the only conclusion I can come to is you blame Brooks entirely through the decision that Haslett made to make Brooks the starting QB. Maybe, you can clarify. Does anyone else read it that way?

Running game sets up the pass. There is no way a team can win without an effective running game. However a team can win with a marginal QB.

Tampa and the Pats both won a superbowl with sub-par running games. If you believe a team can win with a marginal QB, then what would you consider Brooks? At the very least, I think Brooks has to be considered marginal. So, if that is your belief, then we should be winning.
The point I\'ve been trying to make without much success is that there are 10-other guys on the offense that when they aren\'t playing as a complete team cause the passing game to struggle and the typical response from a lot of fans it that it\'s the QB\'s fault.
Now, with that said, SURE, Brooks has made his fair share of mistakes, as most QB\'s do. But, let\'s not overlook the BIG picture and let\'s realize that sometimes a mistake appears to be on the QB, when there is so much we really don\'t see or know.
