this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Is that the price you're expecting to pay per lb? Just an FYI, but HEB is selling them for 1.99this weekend. Should be no more than that next weekend, possibly even a little less....

My worry there would be supply. I dont know if HEB will reserve for us.
Johns supplier would, I believe be able to commit for us, so there'd be no scrambling around. Also, Rob (KAJUN KOOKIN) has a backup supplier for us. We can talk about it, no prob. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- need a headcount by monday Need list: 1. tables 2. chairs 3. ice chests !!! 4. chips/dips 5. beer 6. soda 7. water 8. paper towels, plastic utensils, reddd solo cups (I wont sing) 9. A number of you have offered to kick in $$ for crawfish, thanks! Whatever we need shouldnt be much, thanks to you guys, & I dont mind handling a good chunk of it myself. Also: 1. more Saints Flags and decorative stuff --remember, I have a balcony! 2. TENTS! will look awesome! 3. any dessert you want to bring 4. any other eats you want to bring, very much appreciated. -- popeyes anyone? (some of your guests dont do crawfish) And like for the Tailgate, just tell us what you want to bring/do... THANKS EVERYBODY! |

'bout what time are we looking at? One kid may have a conflict, and Drew has a rehearsal that was suddenly added and he's going to see about getting out if it, but we're trying to schedule around these things, so let us know a time range and we can run with that.

RCA, Pope Ed is a given.... I have a good guess, but in case I'm right, I don't want to ruin Mike's surprise. I'll just wait for it like everybody else.

I wish I could be there with you guys, but maybe someday if it moves a little more to the east. Keep in mind, however, that if you guys run out of 'bugs there are plenty more in my front yard.
