I like it. That boy can play some ball. His experience under Brees would be great for him as well.

Waste of a draft pick for the Saints if they do. With limited draft picks and little remaining cap space why would we draft a back-up QB when we already have Chase Daniel and Sean Canfield... both of whom never see playing time as it is.

I posted why in the piece. I take it you didn't read it though.

Canfield and Daniel are both unrestricted free agents after this season. Release Canfield, develop Moore, because likely Daniel is gone after this season anyways.

Chase Daniels has been a free agent every year. By the time Drew's future contract is up Kellen Moore will be a free agent too. Why waste a draft pick on such a far-future uncertainty??

Not a waste at all. I have a feeling Chase is going elsewhere soon because we can't protect him when he goes UFA. We need a new version of him on roster for the next few years to back up Brees.

Thats not a waste of a Draft pick Brees is getting no younger , by the time retires with us we will have no use for Chase Daniels and Sean Canfield isnt proven yet. We bring In Kellen(Moore) let him sit behind Bress an Co. mature get a couple 4qt blowout games and week 17 games in and Boom! future HOF

At some point, you gotta start looking to the future. Brees is the man, but eventually, he will retire. If they are considering it, then it must be because Daniels, and Canfield just arent getting it done.
