Her's a thought......maybe Rita wanted to fire Payton, Loomis and Vitt then start clean. Benson on the other hand seems to be standing firm behind his FO and coaches. That could have started a Rift.

If her approach was to clean out Payton and Loomis... I would have done more than just move her down to the practice squad.

If anything she was probably just being a ***** to everybody trying to prove something. She's dealing with the men's world of football and probably feels like she needs to be a stone-cold jackass in order to be accepted. Tom is just putting her on ice.

It could be just that they're trying to distance her from all the craziness that has been going around the Saints, so that her name doesn't get dragged through the mud - and media is just misinterpreting the whole situation.

It wouldn't be that hard to believe that a grandfather would want to do that for his granddaughter, and future heir. On the other hand, Benson himself can take it all with a shrug of shoulders.
