I heard on NFL Sirius this morning ( speculation from a caller)that the real underlying issue surrounding Brees contract is not Brees vs Saints, its Rita vs Tom.

i think thats crazy. Soap Opera, I dislike this crap.

I prefer to live in a Low Drama world also.....

What what I read between the lines of her antics, perceived intelligence and being all over the place, she may be a little Bi-Polar... Not a good thing at all for our franchise.

It could be true that its really Rita vs Tom. It seems to me since the offseason Tom has been more hands on. Maybe a lot of what the team is going through stems from Rita not being where she needs to be and doing what she's supposed to be doing. There might be the communication disconnect right there between Tom & the team. Maybe Tom gave her the job figuring he can delegate to a family member he can trust and this whole bounty gate thing spun out of control because SHE was the one who was supposed to make sure they stopped and she didn't or did so without following up and it just got out of control. Idk....it seems more of an internal family issue more than anything but it also effects the team if her problems stem from her not doing her job when it comes to football operations (which seems to me to be left more to the coaches and Loomis' people more than her). The timing is just fishy especially with the SB coming up and Benson buying the Hornets and her just being MIA when most of that work/resposibilty would probably fall to her. And 30 assistants is just crazy. She can't be doing THAT much that she's had to go through so many assistants.
