I wonder if Goddell and Co. will read all of our post and fine us or imprison some of you. The reason I say some of you, I'm going to run, it's harder to find a moving target!!!

It's just typical media sensationalism based on one random person's accusation. Remember how ESPN and the rest of the media took and ran with the story about former Syracuse basketball assistant coach Bernie Fine? Yeah, it was the hot story at the time to bust college coaches for child sexual abuse... and what did it turn out to be?? Made up.

Watching the NFL SportsCenter Special right now. Bill Polian, Hugh Douglas, and Marcelus Wiley (I think) are all being pretty supportive. They're basically saying that even if this is true, the information would be essentially worthless. If Loomis heard all the calls, he'd almost have to be some sort of savant to decipher what they mean before the play got off, nevermind communicate them to someone on the coaching staff.

Well the things is, regardless of whether or not he communicated the info (assuming it is true for what I'm saying), it is a violation of NFL rules and a federal law

But that's the point, right? Why would he risk going to the jail, monetary fines, loss of his job, and punishments for his team to gain no competitive advantage? I mean, I guess it could be some weird voyeuristic fetish thing...

Furthermore, if it's so easy to "re-wire" some crap and listen to opposing teams, then Loomis was the first to figure it out?! Lol, this story is such a freaking joke. Nevermind the fact that the NFL has people in place to monitor those frequencies already. My god, how this story has any legs is beyond me because it's absolutely absurd.

In '02, '03, '04 we didn't even make the playoffs; apparently Loomis was listening to the wrong people...

It only has legs because ESPN has become the Weekly World News when it comes to sports and they broke this false story, I can not wait for the season to start so they have to talk about football not the BS behind the sences
