There was a guy on the Lions site asking why we went after him last year, and let him go by this year. The rest of us listed a whole bunch of reasons. Don't feel bad (for those who do) that you didn't get him either. He is too old, declining performance last year, too big of a contract for only a few 'good' years.

Notice the good was in quotations. It was more indicating sarcasm than an actual quote. Thing is, his performance was declining. Had we gotten him last year (the Lions), he would have fit right in with what our current CB's did. As you guys know from when we played one another, that wasn't much
