Falcons sign Asante Samuel
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; There was a guy on the Lions site asking why we went after him last year, and let him go by this year. The rest of us listed a whole bunch of reasons. Don't feel bad (for those who do) ...

There was a guy on the Lions site asking why we went after him last year, and let him go by this year. The rest of us listed a whole bunch of reasons. Don't feel bad (for those who do) that you didn't get him either. He is too old, declining performance last year, too big of a contract for only a few 'good' years.
