Saints Select WR Nick Toon in the 4th Round of the NFL Draft
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I like it. Character guy, good route runner who knows how to use his size to block out defenders and NFL pedigree to boot. Nice depth addition....

Offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael said it wasn't necessarily losing WR Robert Meachem in free agency pushed the Saints to take WR Nick Toon in the fourth round. Carmichael feels Toon will play more that one WR spot because of his intelligence. Carmichael also said Toon's speed is better than people give Toon credit for. |
