Oh, well.
I doubt this kid will be ready to step into Harpers spot anytime soon, and Hicks is a DT, so I don't think the looming suspensions had anything to do with either of these picks.

Solid open field tackler (according to SI)! It's been sooo long!

OK, then he's a Saint and I hope he does well in Spags defense. Safety seems to be where he will land. I'm not overly excited about him......I just he shows up at TC and fits the mold for a safety. We don't have a Sharper to show him the ropes.

corner to safety worked out for jenkins. there is an obvious need for a safety with cover skills after the last to playoff losses

These last two picks in White and Tiller are sketchy to me, but Loomis has never failed me before so I'll just go with it and wish them a great career as a Saint.

Pretty much how I'm rolling with. All we have are these online scouting reports to go off of... so it's real easy to feel negative about these picks. I'm going to keep an open mind and hope for the best. It's better than saying "Oh man, this guy sucks! There are a handful of players much better than him." Well, then why are they still on the draft board and these guys aren't?

It's all a crap shoot. Given our track record, why not keep an open mind.

But also, given our recent track record with Al Woods, Chip Vaughn, Stanley Arnoux, Demario Pressley and Andy Alleman, we have some counter-points to the trust factor.

I do trust these guys more than anyone we've had in the past, but that doesn't mean they're always right.
