I read these statements by the NFL very carefully for the little tidbits they reveal. This time they said their supposed evidence (that they won't share) was "obtained from Saints executives, coaches, players, and others."
Okay, I'd actually like to know more about who those "others" are, who are NOT Saints executives, coaches or players -- what does "others" mean exactly here. And what if those "others" might be any ex-employees of the Saints, or people who had previous relationships with them, who might now have a grievance or grudge against the team that was perhaps not resolved to their satisfaction. The phrase "and others" - take a moment and ask yourself what the heck does that mean. WHO the heck is an "other" in this situation. |
