Josh Chichester, TE Louisville
Ht 6-6
Wt 233
Hand 10 1/8
Arm 36 1/8
Wing 81 3/8
40 yard 4.66
20s 4.41
60s 11.26
3 Cn 6.93
BP 14
BJ 10'5"
VJ 37

Positives -- Wins every jump ball; a nightmare to defend in the red zone, a quarterback just toss the ball up and he'll go up and get it... Is a converted wide receiver so he's new to the position but shows the drive and character to perfect the craft... Very tough to jam off the line; his long arms just shoo people away from him and it's tough to knock him off balance, has the hip bend that allows him to dip the shoulders and get away from defenders... Not the best blocker but really tries to be good at it; just needs a coach to help him with technique... Good awareness; makes the sideline catches look routine because of his ability to get his feet down, always knows where he is on the field... Very good at tracking the football; knows where the ball is in the air and can make adjustments on the fly... A long strider who has the ability to run away from linebackers.

Negatives -- Has a difficult time breaking in and out of his routes because of his length; needs to stop gliding into a cut and just plant and go... Probably won't be able to play much on the line, doesn't have the strength to be an inline blocker and will really struggle against large defensive ends... Has low acceleration; it takes him a couple of seconds to reach his full speed and by then the play could already be over... Production wasn't what you would expect for a player of his size and ability, never had more than 30 receptions or five touchdowns in a season... Tendency to lose his focus on routine catches; also tends to let the ball come into his pads instead of using his arms and plucking it from the air.

Chichester is a dependable pass-catcher, as he averaged around 25 catches and 300 yards in each of his four seasons for Louisville.

Like the other prospects on this list, he is still very raw, which means that he will have a lot to improve on if he wants to make an NFL roster.

Patrick Witt, QB Yale
Height: 6' - 4"
Weight: 225 lbs
Arm Length: 31 3/8"
Hand Size: 9"
40 4.90
20 S 4.37
3 Cone 7.14
Broad Jump 8' 5"
Vertical Jump 31.5"

Witt started his collegiate career in Nebraska but opted to transfer to Yale after Bill Callahan was fired.

ok break time

He is highly intelligent and shouldn’t have too much trouble adjusting to a new offense but his background and character concerns are large.

Not only did Witt have some incidents while at Nebraska but he also had a run-in at a night club while at Yale

A former Rhodes Scholarship candidate and highly touted recruit out of high school, Witt definitely regressed through his collegiate career but does have a chance to get on as a backup with the right team.

A more cerebral pocket passer that can pick apart defenses from close within, Witt may not have great arm strength but he understands when to torque down and deliver a touch pass or rip the football to squeeze a pass into a tight window.
Patrick Witt - QB - Yale*|*RookieDraft.com

Positives:

Good size and durability. Highly intelligent. Has a mind for the game — studies, prepares and understands concepts. Knows the playbook and commands the offense. Quick setup and short-armed release. Good short-to-intermediate accuracy. Nice touch on finesse throws. Experienced, three-year starter.
Negatives:

Average arm strength. Inconsistent spiral. Rattled by pressure — mechanics and judgment wane when the pocket shrinks. Thinks he’s better than he is and could rub teammates the wrong way. Has two minor arrests and sexual-assault accusation and character need to be evaluated carefully.
Summary:

A former Rhodes Scholar candidate and former BCS recruit, Witt is a cerebral rhythm passer who requires a clean pocket to function efficiently. Has the mental acuity to compete for a No. 3 job.

That's a good thing - get 'em side by side to compare, competition, see if there's improvement with more repetition...

Are you agent or family? Just busting chops...And several of us are hoping that Romeus will be to the defense what Colston has meant to the offense...

And Williams has left the building...we can only hope Spagnulo can stay three years and develop a unit that is not as embarrassing as this one has been...

Man-o-man, it is that time again...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...
