Legislature calls on NFL to take another look at Saints' penalties

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; For the sake of Louisiana and possibility of future Super Bowls being held there, the Legislature should tend to more pressing matters. While the intent and message are good, the repercussions could be felt for years....

District 5 is not Ruston, it is in the heart of New Orleans, it stretches along the Mississippi River from Canal to Jefferson Avenue and includes the Central Business District, the Warehouse District, the Garden District, Central City and parts of Uptown, Mid City and Carrollton areas.

I agree, but they deal with much lesser "pressing" issues than the Saints
like this one:

SIGNED BY THE GOVERNOR
ACT 105
Creates the Town of Ball 40th Anniversary Prestige License Plate.

I'm sure the 3,500 residents of Ball will be lining up to get their fancy plates to celebrate all those decades of rich history.

Remember, the Superbowl is in Louisiana this year and the legislature can really mess with the NFL. If the governor and the legislature are on the same page, they can give Goodell and the NFL a fat juicy hell on earth.

Just think, the State could double it's profits from emergency compensatory funds from the NFL, so let's see....

Remember do not bite the hand that feeds you. In other words if you want to host another Super Bowl in New Orleans we need to choose our words carefully.

We don't need the legislature to act (it doesn't mean anything anyway). We just need an Arbitrater &/or Judge to do the right thing & turn this in our favor.
