What do you think?
With Vilma taking Goodell to court and people saying that the coaches didn't vehemently deny anything took place and so that was kind of an admission, could the coaches apply for reinstatement if Goodell is found wanting? I've know some people have said they can't as it is different for them but I want to bring up two points, if I may:
1) If there is very little to no evidence, certainly not enough to warrant the punishments given out, then surely the coaches can't be accused of hiding it. If I have nothing in my hand and close it, what am I hiding from you? 2) The lack of denial would not be an implication of guilt. Maybe it happened because Payton asked the coaches and players to stop and they did but when told the NFL had evidence he assumed that it hadn't stopped and realised that as the boss the buck stopped with him and so didn't bother to fight it. The whole thing about this is that the evidence that has been shown so far is certainly not enough to beat someone down as much as Goodell has.
