this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Nicks came in at the bottom (or top). Didn't 43 already get listed? Wasn't he THE most utilized player in the NFL last year? Hence All-Purpose yardage record? My question is where do we think they'll rank Drew? Coming in ...

My question is where do we think they'll rank Drew? Coming in 2nd in MVP voting, you'd assume he'll be #2. Honestly, I think NFLN is going to fabricate a list of reasons he falls behind 5 other QB's and WR or two. And why in the world do they release only 10 a week?? I've seen it one time and we're in what? Week 5? My DVR is NOT set to record the Top 100. |

I Can not..... Do not... will not understand a damned thing if Drew is not #1.
My problems with the NFLs most ignorant list: Most obviously ... We haven't played 2012 yet, so you cant have top players of 2012 with ANY justification yet. Now that bit if stupidity aside the rest of my issues. Payton manning will make this list and SHOULD not be on it with out at least playing 2011. How in the FK is Tebow in the top 100? Ely manning will probably be in the top 3 and does not belong there. Brady, Brees, and Rogers are better than he is. As far as for stats Stafford was better than he was in 2011. Sproles at 86???? The new all purpose yardage king, and the one person besides Brees and grahm that is continuously mentioned when discussing the lethality of the Saints offense. Grahm better be up there in the list some where after his 2011 season. With the exception or Archie.... The rest of the Manning's can go live on Manning Isle, where their head size matches that of Easter Island heads, never to be heard from or seen again. |

Man that list is complete BS. Sproles is #86 meaning every defensive player he's burned probably voted him low when he should be in the top 15 IMO he's one of the few players that no team can stop no matter what you do because he can hurt you at all facets of the offensive game, rushing, catching, KR, & PR and he's DURABLE which makes him indespensble. I mean the guy broke a record that I doubt will be broken by anyone anytime soon unless its him doing it again (Same thing for Brees).

This list is about as important as power rankings. Brees, Rodgers & Brady are the top 3 QB's in the league, everyone else is in a lower tier. The NFL is a team game and rings do not necessarily make you an "Elite QB" but they don't hurt either.
