With surveys the sample size isn't often as important as the way the sample is chosen and how the overall survey is constructed and conducted - even small sample groups can give a very representative results for a large target group. There are quite complex mathematical equations that are used to determine whether or not a certain sample and/or result is representative and to what degree, and if those guidelines - that are agreed upon by the scientific community - were followed, I see no reason to doubt the result of this particular survey. But, whether or not there's ultimately a point to this type of a survey in the first place is probably a matter of taste. |
