Unfortunately, we don't figure this out then we will be forever haunted and tormented as the team that refused to sign "Drew". Too bad, we don't sign him, someone else eventually will. While it may easier to live with when you live in the south where you are surrounded by other fans. Try living somewhere like the Pacific Northwest, where its "one parts per million". Not enjoyable.

If he wants more up front or whatever then okay, but let's not ever entertain the idea that we 'refused to sign' Drew. We've been very fair negotiating with him, and my guess is that if he had an agent who's name wasn't Tom Condon he'd be signed already. |
