the steelers are almost certainly going to release jason gildon after june 1st, maybe we can get him in and help give us a little stronger LB crew and give a little experience to it as well, i think hed be a nice fit. whats every1 think on that?

Hasbeen schemes his linebackers in an odd fashion to try and cover a weak secondary .

Philadelphia sent Trotter in a form of attack defense that untilized the linebacking talent and that did not carry over into Washington in their defensive style so Trotter became expendable and not as productive . Trotter is a stay at home and crash the gates kind of linebacker and is effective in that system . Hasbeen pressures from the Safety and Corner positions.

Trotter while still being a great talent , could be useless in the Saints system ....

Now that was a good response, a no with some good examples. Now i do think if we bolster our LB\'s it will improve our secondary because they wont have to make every play if we have a pass rush. What do u think about Gildon saintz08? I think he is a solid player that would be a good get with a decent price. Now i may be wrong, but i think if we can maybe bring in a solid LB and a good corner, our defense will be in the top 10. We are young on the line, we jus need production out of or LBs and CBs.
