I agree completely...and another thing:
...we must ABSOLUTELY stop the run. Did I say we should stop the run. Yeah, we CANNOT let them run the ball. That\'s a tall order for our \"D\", but I know they have it in \'em. |

We have to tackle Alstott! DO NOT TRY AND HIT HIM! TACKLE!!!
I think our D line will put a good bit of pressure on Johnson and he isnt the most mobile of the QBs in the league. Sammy Knight should be able to make some plays if Johnson has to run and try and make throws he usually doesnt make. Im worried about our O. Deuce needs to start and play, but I dont know if that will help. There D matches up well against us. They have a solid D line, playmaker LB, ProBowl corners, and Hardhitting safeties. This limits the number of mistakes we can make. Special teams we have the best return man in the league and this will be HUGE this week. Field position will determine alot. Our kickers are both probowl calliber. Gramatica has a lil bit better of a leg, but 50 yarders are still tough. and inside the 40 Carney is solid. I think this game will be a great game and whoever wins the turnover battle and or field position battle will win the game. I think we will get the field position Im just a little worried about turnovers. Last week Tampa made Farve look silly and we all know Brooks is no Farve. |

You guys have been busy today .
Fluff the pillows if you will , someone silver line that cloud . Here is the bottom line , Brooks is nowhere near the threat he has been considered in the past , and has proven he is all to predictable when Duece is out . I will not stroke you all with some easy to get prevent defense passing yardage totals or dazzle you with passing yardage totals on the play action bite . What I will give you is what opposing defensive players are saying about Brooks . \"What I was seeing was a guy that didn\'t know if we were blitzing, didn\'t know if we were in a zone or a straight man-to-man,\" Little said. \"Personally, with or without him (Deuce), we didn\'t think he could read coverages that well, and he proved it today.\" The statement was made by a safety from the Cleveland Browns , Not a player of Lynch\'s caliber . Say he is our best chance if you will , say he is a great athlete , say he is talented and will learn . Have all the quarterbacks been in the game ?? It\'s only a matter of time before 31 NFL teams know how to defense Brooks and focus on Duece . Atlanta has already figured it out . It won\'t really matter how many yards he can pass for , opposing defenses will know they can at some point confuse Brooks and shut him down . |
\"Americans play to win at all times. I wouldn\'t give a hoot in hell for a man who lost and laughed.\" - George S. Patton
On another note, I\'ll take a bite of that crow 08. - Saintfan Brooks is a moron!! - Halo |

ok, here`s the deal next Sunday night. Probably the most important regular season game for the Saints. Hopefully the Bucs didn`t watch the Atlanta game films. Maybe Brooks decides it`s not a good idea to throw off balanced back-peddling into double coverage, and just maybe the refs don`t get flag happy. Hopefully our offensive co-ordinator keeps the bucs D off balanced, maybe Brooks could run a few like he did earlier this season and keep the secondary honest. The Saint defense is there, solid, they can hold the Bucs to mid 20`s easily. The offense must score with long clock eating drives. The tools are there for a Saint win this sunday, they just need to be utilized and all the players need to show up with a take-care-of-business attitude. Thats my take.

Two payers are going to make this a win in the dome .
Sammy Knight - the blitz and interceptions , it\'s crunch time and Knight is due . Duece - He gets back into action and draws some attention off Brooks . |

Tackling is a MAJOR issue. I hope that the boys practiced long and hard this week. The Buccaneers are coming into this game thinking they have it all sewed up tight. We need to put a good, old fashioned, coonassed whooping on them.
