Grubbs Wants to Help Continue Success in 2012
There is nothing more important to a team’s success than a talented offensive line. In 2011, the Saints line helped the club’s offensive unit set a new NFL single-season record, amassing 7,474 total net yards.
Right guard Jahri Evans, left guard Carl Nicks, and left tackle Jermon Bushrod, three starters on the o-line, were all named to the Pro Bowl at the end of last season. The line also featured two new additions to the starting lineup: center Brian de la Puente and right tackle Zach Strief. Grubbs Wants to Help Continue Success in 2012 |

I'm all for buying the big man a New Orleans poboy! He sounds like a great choice for this locker room.

Signing Grubbs was really the best way to combat the loss of Nicks to the Bucs, and I'm very optimistic when it comes to his future performances in the black & gold - I'm excited that he is supposedly a very good run blocker.

The offensive line is one of the main reasons I refuse to believe the Saints won't win the NFC South, again ... the only other offensive line in football I like as much is LSU's ... coincidence? IDK, but all this talk about po'boys might be swaying my opinion a bit, .

You gotta give Lomis credit here. We lose the best OG in the NFL and yet we replace him with a top 5 OG and we save some much needed money.
