I had a chance to ask Charles Grant a couple of questions tonight.

First I asked him who he considered to be the leader on the defense. Grant said that everyone was a grown man and they knew what needed to be done. He said they didn't need a anyone telling them what they needed to be done. He said different players speak up from time to time when need be.

Second I asked Charles what kind of effect John Pease had. Grant said Peace has changed everything. He told them NOT to worry about beating the offensive linemen. He told them to go to the ball and if they do that then the offesive linemen are of no concern.

Also he said Pease has taught him so much already that he didn't know. Says Pease is going to be much more involved in the defesive game planning. Pease has already broken down the game film or their first 4 opponents.

More things he said was Haslett has said he is inconsitent and he didn't know where that came from but he's going to make ANYONE who ever criticised him eat EVERY word.

Grant also said he wasn't worried about Will Smith taking his spot, unless someone just gives it him. He said he's going to go out and show EVERYONE just what kind of player he is.

Said Sullivan knows he needs to get the extra weight off and he thinks Sullivan will come in to camp in shape and ready to go. He said the coaches and the media have called Sully out and it's up to Sully to show him what kind of player he is.

I can't remember everything Grant said, but that was it for the most part.

Why would you pass up the obvious question that is on everybody\'s mind?

I called in on a radio talk show. The other info I posted was questions other callers called in.

P.S -- The lakers suck!! Minnesota will come back and win. Garnett will put the team on his back and carry \'em to the promised land.
