I am not that worried about the 40 whiners. I think they come back to earth this year. Last year they caught people by surprise with how good there defense was. There offense was mediocre the entire season. Alex Smith is who he has been his entire career, hot and cold.
I'd like to think the Lions but I don't think they did enough on D. There offense isn't going to surprise anyone this year. I'd lean more to the Eagles this year. If they can manage to stay healthy, they could be a force. |

I don't know about scared but the Packers are the team to beat this year followed closely by the Niners. The Lions I think are a step behind and are going to be dangerous as long as Stafford is healthy. There's always a chance that the Eagles and the Cowboys will get their **** together enough to be a threat in the playoffs and you can't discount what the Giants have accomplished even if we have owned them over the last few years.
I think they're all scared of US! |

Scare? Not so much scare but I am very weary.
Comes in 3 sections. 1. Generally - Green Bay Packers, 49ers. (Much respect to the ever improving Detroit Lions and to the defending Giants). 2. the Vikings and Rams scare me because their lesser performances could scupper our seeding in the playoffs. 3. Anyone we meet in the playoffs. |

There are a number of decent teams out there, but the team the Saints should be most worried about is: The Saints.
If they can stay out of their own way and avoid games like they had against the Rams last year, they'll be great. As far as other teams go, the Packers are the only team that concerns me at all, but like any given week, I think if the Saints show up on both sides of the ball they won't lose that game. |
