The Saints players are all entering the courtroom and lining up in chairs behind Vilma. They're going to stay with him until the bitter end.
I HOPE THAT'S THE ONSIDES KICK!!!!

Mark, I would post some stuff, but I don't use Twitter.

You are doing a great job, Brother!

The court (Judge) is having Jurisdictional issues because Ginsberg wouldn't allow Vilma to complete the appeal hearings set forth in the CBA.

In essence Vilma defaulted the appeal with the NFL.

If she awards this injuction/restraining order it might over rule unfairly what the NFL might have done under the CBA... but we do not know for fact what they would have done because Vilma walked out of the thing.

Rugby Saint II 07-26-2012 03:05 PM

Vilma's attorney said Vilma was unable to get a fair hearing because Godhell had already made up his mind. God, I wish that the judge could see some of the slanderous accusations he made on TV before the appeal.

Peter Ginsberg, Vilma's attorney, said "Mr. Goodell pretended to listen" to Saints coaches. He said they knew there was nothing to be done.

This statement could have had more behind it with more from Vitt & Payton corroborating it, but the outcome of the coaches appeal had no difference.

Ginsberg needs to EARN his money....

STICK THE KNIFE IN AND SPIN IT GINSBERG!

DO IT!

Beastmode 07-26-2012 03:18 PM

You would walk through the front door to appeal and RG could be releasing more allegations to ESPN. How can you possibly appeal anything without knowing what you are up against or have time to prepare your information and facts. Nonsense.

TXGSP 07-26-2012 03:19 PM

Need this situation to start turning more toward League issues, but may not in this venue.

My understanding this is only the restraining order for the suspension.

Once the other players are involved, the fact Vilma left the appeal is of less value, but could be used by the league in the larger lawsuit. This decision could come into play later.

Vilma may need this one for the long run...

I think Ginsberg is turning the tide bringing up 1% of evidence and lack of NFL witnesses.

Goodell has douched this whole thing up. He's not there because he knows he has nothing to worry about. He has muddied the water so much that it will take years before the water reaches some form of clarity.

With that last statement it may have opened up a GOOD place to offer Der Kommisar's public comments. Those comments could definately point to a biased appellate.
