this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I agree with most that has been said. The one thing I know for sure is we are going to lose a starting receiver any way you cut it. It is a good problem to have...

Tanner or Morgan to the practice squad, maybe both.......although I doubt it.

The way that I see it, Roby and Morgan are in a one-on-one battle for a roster spot. They are similar style receivers that will also be used on special teams if they make the 46.
.
Nah, Roby makes the team even if he loses this 'battle'. He is great on both sides of the ball on special teams. If he also latches on as the 4 or 5 receiver, we can save a roster spot.
Don't forget, Roby was pretty explosive a a KR before Sproles came along

Explosive KR may be stretching it. He is our best gunner on the team though. With Patrick seeing significant time at corner this year, Roby becomes more important to our ST unit. Anything he can provide offensively is just a plus. Very encouraged of what we've seen of him these two past preseasons. He's a lock for a roster spot.
