No offense but why does this article seem to be hating on Brees? I I personally think Brees is better than Brady and is the best qb RIGHT NOW. I'm happy if our defense is great though.


Plus that game was highly in the pats favor. Brees had few weapons compared to Brady(who had both Hernandez and GRONK) and Brees didn't even have jimmy graham which made it hard for him to get much going. Plus I think this game was our "defense test game".

I took a lot away from the HoF game... I am taking nothing away from the Thursday night game against the Pats.

There are so many extenuating circumstances surrounding that game than I can list but I will try.

1. Second preseason game.
2. Conditioning is just starting and the game was only 3 days after their last game.
3. Thursday night games usually follow a Sunday HOME game.
4. Our starting Offense practiced with the Pats starting defense for three days before the game. It was all vanilla and both sides had three days of preview...
