Tight end Daniel Graham should help New Orleans Saints with experience; blocking ability
While his numbers aren’t that spectacular(224 rec. for 2,490 yds. and 25 TD), Graham at 6’3, 257 pounds will provide the Saints with a formidable blocker. The fact that he only recorded 2 receptions for 25 yds. and 1 TD last season shows that the Tennessee Titans used him just for that.
The Saints don’t want to get caught in a situation like last year when they lost Thomas for the season after multiple concussions, sending him to injured reserve. It left the team scrambling to find a replacement where they eventually signed John Gilmore who was also a blocking tight end.
