Saints Linebackers Suffer Injuries and a Suspention
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Lofton will not play opening day nor will Hawthorne, 6 to 8 weeks is the normal recovery time for a high ankle sprain so I would be happy to see Lofton by week 4. Hawthorne will end up missing 4 ...

Lofton will not play opening day nor will Hawthorne, 6 to 8 weeks is the normal recovery time for a high ankle sprain so I would be happy to see Lofton by week 4. Hawthorne will end up missing 4 weeks and be back for week 2 hopefully. I would be shocked if we had both for opening day. We will need to move Wilson back to LB, and should look at bringing is Shawn Merriman or Joey Porter.
