this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; That is a very good point. Or could it be because they are not allow to do certain things in training camp due to the new CBA?...

That is a very good point. Or could it be because they are not allow to do certain things in training camp due to the new CBA?

Definitly that. The absence of two a days and no live tackling leads to injury. The players need live hits to get their bodies used to taking hits It limbers up their muscles and tendons and body as a whole. When they go from touch practicing straight into live games where they tackle with 100% effort people are going to get hurt because of lack of conditioning.
