Did anybody catch Courtney Watson on WWL last night?
It appears we may have a winner here. he's well spoken, sounds intelligent, and challenged the rumor about him not being a hitter, only a sure tackler. He said the main thing is making the tackle, he's not worried about making the sportscenter highlights, just making the tackle. He doesn't seem overwhelmed by the NFL at all. He also seems extremely confident, not cocky at all. He also said he didn't care what they wanted him to do he was just gonna do the very best he could regardless of what was asked of him. He said he likes the defensive coaching staff, even Moss :o He said he'd play special teams, no problem. Sounded like he kinda liked it. Said he's played special teams alot and would gladly contribute there if it was asked of him. I like this kid. |

Watson will be awesome. Every single report about him is good. This is the best player that the Saints drafted this year. He\'ll play a ton this year, and next year, Ruff will lose his spot to Watson. I can\'t wait to see him play in the preseason!

Sounds fantastic to me. I hope this guy starts from day 1. Ruff is poo, gimme Watson or Grant, preferably Watson. Thanks for the post Danno.
PS - this sounds nothing like another Saints player I know: - he\'s well spoken, sounds intelligent, - he\'s not worried about making the sportscenter highlights - extremely confident, not cocky at all - He also said he didn\'t care what they wanted him to do he was just gonna do the very best he could regardless of what was asked of him. Yeah, I think you\'re right. In THIS guy, we may have a winner. He certainly seems to have the INTANGIBLES! LMAO! :P Here comes billy... |

Dude, it\'s totally not cool to rip on Mitch Berger like that. I liked Toby Gowin a lot myself, but he\'s just a punter, cut him some slack.
