But fortunately for you guys, the secondary will give up a lot of big plays unless the pressure is too much for the OL. |

Rookie QB's always come in and play like seasoned vets when we first play them. It's gonna be a scary game.

Shanny worked hard on incorporating Griffs skills into a lot of new looks, formations, and plays, none of which were seen in preseason. |

Also, is it just me or does Kenny Albert look (and sometimes sound) like he has Downs Syndrome? It kinda freaks me out. |

![]() Shanny put in a lot of plays specifically for RG3's legs. Obviously they didn't want any film on exactly what kind of role that will be playing. Dude is a world class hurdler though... I guarantee some big plays on the ground. As a rookie I definitely expect bad plays while he is getting used to the speed of the game. But in Baylor out of 1159 attempts, he only threw 17 interceptions. |

The only times that rookie or unknown "nobody" quarterbacks looked really good against the Gregg Williams Saints D, was when the QB on the field wasn't the same QB that the team prepared for during the week (Seattle playoffs, Titans game), or else when the QB was changed mid-season and there wasn't a lot of film on them (Arizona, Cleveland and the Rams all made a major QB change only a week or two before the game, for example). When the QB on the field is who the Saints are expecting to be there, rookie quarterbacks tend to look okay but not great, if the Saints were prepared for them. Josh Freeman (38-7), Cam's first game against the Saints, and Matt Stafford in the '09 opener for example. Stafford played okay that day, he made some nice plays, but the game was still a total blowout. That's kind of what I see happening here on Sunday, I see this as being very similar to that Detroit opener in '09. |
