It took Emmitt two or three years after Barry retired to catch him. Emmitt played with a ton of weapons and a great o-line. Barry was THE weapon and played with a terrible line. I think if you had reversed the situations, Emmit Smith would have been nothing special and Sanders would have 30,000 yards rushing.
