I always thought scab meant bottom of the barrell POS back up who should never see the field like Shanle

Scab means a person who works when a union is on strike, weakening their bargaining position by allowing the organization they are on strike against to keep operating.

"Defenses do not win Championships"

I'm thinkin' maybe that should read, "One very strong side of the ball wins championships." Lately, it's been offenses, but we've seen some D's win that game as well. I'm not gonna look any further than the Ravens and da Bears for word on that. Hell, da Bears even had the defense playing offense.

The ravens was 12 years ago and the Bears was about 25 years ago.

Defense does NOT win championships, although a crappy one probably eliminates you from going anayway.
