I would consider that if they hadn't sucked from he first snap.

Re: Shouldve hired Del Rio

Team Loss...Both sides of the ball stunk it up today...

Gotta question if Will Smith was ready to play...

Which leads me to question with Martez Wilson Size, Speed, Strength - is he unable of grasping the defense?!?

He made plays or nearly did when given a chance on special teams...

Cam Jordan looked like he played with more urgency, results from defensive line seemed the same...

Now convinced that Ellis is a bust...

Turning point of the game was when the rookie didn't just piss his pants and fold...

This was like Bout 1 of Rocky III - they had eye of the tiger and our veterans were still happy about their pay day and the new toys they bought themselves!!!

Linebackers didn't look like they were out of position that much...

WE STILL CAN'T F***ING TACKLE!

Cornerbacks looked fine to me, question the Safety Support (Both)!

Greer playing a partial season is starting to become a theme...

Colston fumble, looked like he didn't want to be out there today...

Drew, is he overloaded with too much - and who made that call to send a short Lance Moore for an up top catch route down the middle that he seem to break off of as well?!?

And Drew underthrew Joe Morgan in the end zone - he hasn't been too accurate on the deep throws lately...

Reggie Bush leaves and learns to run straight - now bigger Mark Ingram dances side to side...

Offensive Line looked like a serious liability, especially at the Tackle position - who made the assessment that we'd be fine with Strief and Bushrod manning the bookends; really didn't expect to see a dropoff with Grubbs?!?

It was nice that, even though we played like we didn't want to be there (tired, lathargic), we still had a couple of chances in the last four minutes...

I really wanted to believe that we could manage one season without Payton - Cromer looked like he schiott his pants in the first quarter and was hoping he could get throught the game without anyone noticing - damn, that guy was tight...

It is one game, but I didn't like what I saw today...

But why did it have to be the F**KING Redskins?!? That's one of my most hated teams!!!

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

After one game?

Can you guarantee me the outcome would be different if Del Rio was here right now?

Get out of there with that crap.

Gotta agree about one game, linebackers have barely had a chance to play together...

But I'm also convinced that wholesale changes of the personnel on defense and offensive tackles are needed - not coaching...

Re: Shouldve hired Del Rio

The Saints were flat. The O-Line stunk and if any adjustments were made, they didn't work. The secondary was missing it's best player. Without Greer shutting down his side, they looked like the average talent, inexperienced group at CB they are. Colston didn't look healthy. If Morgan is not going to be returning kicks, they need to cut him. He's not ready to be a WR in the NFL. Does Graham run anything but a seam route? Sooner or later a safety is going to take him out. It almost happened today. Hartley kicked well today. The Saints miss Payton. How Spags was magically going to get pressure from a front four that has never been good at pressuring the QB was beyond me. He didn't today. Maybe this will be a wakeup call. If not, it's going to be a long year. WHO DAT!

Re: Shouldve hired Del Rio

I could see hiring Del Rio as a Tackling Consultant - but we don't need to add to the guys we got from USC that suck already...

I have a right to my opinion so if you don't want to hear it, you can get out of here with YOUR crap.

We made a frickin ROOKIE IN HIS FIRST GAME look like a prennial All-Pro. And BTW, what kind of idiotic question is that asking me if I can guarantee the outcome? Only Joe Namath can do that.

I'm sorry you are correct. You are entitled to make idiotic comments and I also have the right to point out out stupid and irrational it is after one game. So you just keep posting your crap... and I'll just keep pointing it out. But as the quality of your post deteriorate, your presence here may wear on this board.

Re: Shouldve hired Del Rio

Watching Denver's defense tonight makes me feel really good that we didn't hire Jack Del Rio. Their defense is jaw droppingly bad. The only thing good about their defense is Tracy Porter.

Of course, I am not sold on Spagnola yet either especially after our terrible performance today. Maybe we should've hired someone else entirely. I am rooting for him though.
