this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; He had a bad game. He didn't do so well against the Packers last year (though debatable if tonight was worse) and finished off great. (1000+ yds). It wasn't just Colston, I was screaming "wtf moore, you never drop balls!!!!!" ...

It wasn't just Colston, I was screaming "wtf moore, you never drop balls!!!!!" the whole first quarter or so. The fumble wasn't even his fault, that was good play on the back.

Re: Marques Colston
what is SMH? Ive had too much sex to know what this means.
Marques Colston is great, has been great, and will continue to be great. Marques, injured, had a rough day, but still caught some big passes. Drew sucked yesterday. Defense sucked yesterday. Zach Strief jumped twice. Lance Moore jumped & dropped pass. I believe Graham dropped one too. Ingram did little. Grubbs couldnt get his shoe tied. Sproles should have ran the last punt back to the left. Kromer (or Carmichael?) brought some weird personnel groupings, and failed to use Courtney Roby. Joseph Morgan had a bad day. And guess what? We, the crowd sucked yesterday too. The Redskins fans easily bested us. Whats up with leaving early, when your team isnt really out of it? This was your Big- Bad- We're- Mad- Homecoming? pffft. pitiful. It was a team loss, and we're part of it. Lets do better next time. |

Realizing how I had taken my afternoon to help him when she was visiting with me that weekend, he ponied up two nice tickets for the game... We sat next to a well-known, rich dysfunctional family from my home town... The crowd never-got-into-the-game; and when Abby and I started to cheer our heads off, they asked us to be quiet so they could enjoy the game; this wasn't box seats or club loge tickets either... Saw customer a few weeks later, thanking him, we dicussed the change in the feel of the dome; he agreed about the feel, but said that that family rotates tickets and he gave us two more (my business now takes care of his fleet of equipment) - same result in Dome Feel... I knew then that with the Superbowl victory we were now in the era of corporate seating and that while the eye candy was great (and each of the Saintsations walking around pregame recognized Abby, stopped and talked to Abby - Bonus) the Dome advantage was gone... Now, I watch the game at my place where I can cook and my friends and I can walk around, cutting up and enjoying the game... But the advantage of Home Games is not there... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Yeah but...4 catch's out of 11 targets and tack on that fumble. I think he took bad to a different level today. I don't remember him playing this bad ever.

Re: Marques Colston
Colton made a huge mistake fumbling the ball but he wasn't on the field when the skins were putting up 40 points. This was a total team effort or lack of effort.
Even with the poor play they still had a shot until that pass interfere call on Roman Harper, IMO was a horrible call. These officials are absolutely horrible, just anther way Goodhell has found a way to **** us. |
