Well it must be really crazy then cause this same thing happened with him last year. He didn't have any ball control, it wasn't like the ball was stripped.

The problem is not that Colston fumbled while going for the end zone on an absolutely crazy play, the problem is that the whole rest of the **** team did not respond to it, with elevated intensity and drive, and a better performance to make up for it. Crazy stuff happens in football. When it's not one guy's day, the others are supposed to step up. That didn't happen.
Colston always fumbles. He did against the Packers and also the lions in the playoffs last year for sure. and he has had so many fumbles over his career, I have lost count. Colston is not consistent, never has been. He has some talent, but Drew makes him look a lot better than he really is. When we HAVE to have a big play, you can count on Marques to drop it or fumble it.

SMH at this post. You make Colston sound like he's Reggie Bush. Colston always has one of those bad games once a year. He has been one the most consistent Wr's along with Lance Moore. If I remember he has converted the most 3rd downs of any WR in the league. Go back and watch games from last season and see how dude was money.

Colston ends up with a lot of first down catches because he plays in an offense that breaks records every year. It seems that he is either dropping passes, getting hurt, or fumbling all the time. I pull hard for Colston, because I have always thought this guy could break out and be great. He makes some great plays sometimes. But he drops routine passes way too often. I don't think he's awful, or that we should cut him, but I grow tired of his mental mistakes in crucial moments. And believe me, I remember the games quite well, but if you'd like me to dig up the stats I'd be happy to do so.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

Re: Marques Colston

You mean the fumble play against Green Bay when he BROKE HIS COLLARBONE? Give me a break. Like you could do better. Colston is fine. Good thing you are not a coach. Let's bench him and put in Joe Morgan, maybe he won't drop the ball. Wait what. That play was one in a million.

Re: Marques Colston

As soon as Colston caught the ball, the defender's arm came from underneath and popped it out. It wasn't like he didn't have anybody on him. He did drop a couple, but lets get real, aside from Graham and Moore, the rest of our guys couldn't catch a cold.

Guy has a bad game and you're ready to get rid of him?? Thank god YOU don't call the shots on this team. He's only the most consistent WR this team has ever had.

I know people are mad about the game, but saying stuff like that is just plain stupid.

yeah, but.....

where has colston been all camp and preseason? it doesnt seem to be just this game. i dont know if its a lack of conditioning or what, but, he certainly is getting open, either. its not just the dropped balls. kinda hard to catch the ball w/ a defender all over you like flies on....
