Look. The fumble out of the end zone is like one of those one-in-a-zillion plays that happens every once in a blue moon, and it's completely crazy and there's almost nothing that you can do to prevent it. The problem is not that Colston fumbled while going for the end zone on an absolutely crazy play, the problem is that the whole rest of the **** team did not respond to it, with elevated intensity and drive, and a better performance to make up for it. Crazy stuff happens in football. When it's not one guy's day, the others are supposed to step up. That didn't happen.

Re: Marques Colston
Well it must be really crazy then cause this same thing happened with him last year. He didn't have any ball control, it wasn't like the ball was stripped.

When we HAVE to have a big play, you can count on Marques to drop it or fumble it.

I don't think he's awful, or that we should cut him, but I grow tired of his mental mistakes in crucial moments. And believe me, I remember the games quite well, but if you'd like me to dig up the stats I'd be happy to do so.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.
