How many times have we said this before anyway about players that leave. It's a long season, we'll see how he does overall for them through 16 games. Nobody was crying when we let him go.

To be honest, there were some on these boards who would've wanted to keep him around very much - just can't remember who exactly were of that opinion.

I was one. But I recognize it's a business and you can't have everything. I was sure he'd look better when he got healthy again, which is indeed what seems to have happened in Denver. People will say his neck injury was not serious, but that kind of thing can slow you down psychologically -- it can take a while after something like that to convince yourself that your body really is 100% back.
