Greer replaces Patrick (whew)

WR for Carolina = Colston, Moore, Morgan, Arrington, Camarillo

and this is exactly how we started last year, 0-1, losing a game that we felt like we could've won. Not time to worry...yet

Re: Question

1. We have always seemed to miss Greer when he isn't in the lineup.
2. I agree w/ Dude, this week will say a lot about our team, and I too hope not to destroy everything w/in reach should we lay another egg.
3. When was the last time Brees followed up a stinker w/ anything but a solid performance?
4. Kromer scares me as a HC. I feel very uncomfortable hearing him talk to the media. He just doesn't seem comfortable in his own skin, but I have to trust Loomis and Co on this move.

Re: Question

this is the second season opener in two years that you can place blame in colstons for a fumble. he did it opening drive against the packers and sunday at the three yard line. maybe he should lay off the butter snacks before the game. also they seemed to have given up on the running game before it ever started. thomas had a few solid runs and ingram had a few solid stops at the lie of scrimmage while he was trying to run. im hoping it was the penalties that took them away from the run game. as good as brees is, a one dimensional team cannot win. and thats what we were on sunday, and thats why they kept rushing brees. they knew he was throwing.and they were going to keep rushing until they got burned. its like a batter facing a pitcher having control problems, you dont swing until he starts hitting the strike zone consistently.
i hope to see brees take on more of a payton manning role in the play calling, if it remains an issue.

Colstons fumble really didn't hurt. It was almost halftime and the ST blocked the punt and we scored anyway. Even if Colston doesn't fumble the score is the same at half 20-14.

Re: Question

49 fued...thanks for raising my blood pressure this early in the day.

This was unfortunately the time period where I had just married my wife and my new FATHER IN LAW was a 49er fan.

Talk about taking **** and having to eat it...

18 years of hate, and losing to them in the playoffs AGAIN last year was worse than the Moster Lynch drink we had to swalllow.

Dirty Birds got nuffin' on Montana/Craig/Rice!

Re: Question

It seems like we always have problems with Skins, no matter who the QB or coach is.The year we won the Superbowl I think was the year we should have gotten beat by them. Meach ripped the ball from a DB who had picked Brees. I am going to look back and see because that was one of our worse played games that year.
