Saints cornerback Keyuo Craver appears to have returned to the team in a better state of mind than when he left it six weeks ago under adverse conditions.

Dissatisfied with Craver's weight and lackadaisical attitude, Coach Jim Haslett sent the third-year pro home after the first day of a three-day minicamp in June.

In a face-to-face meeting, Haslett expressed his disappointment in Craver and told him to reassess his priorities and report back to training camp ready to play.

Craver appears to have done just that. He now weighs 196 pounds, 21 pounds lighter than an offseason high of 217, and is determined to put the past in the rear view mirror.
