We need to fix this fast
A few points:

Brees was leading the league last year until week 7 if I remember correctly.

We still have around 6-7 mil I believe.

Now.... Not sure we are missing Payton as much as some believe.... I do think we are missing Loomis's magic with personnel.

Just sit tight. This team is still learning how not to loose without their coach. Good things will come our way. One way or antoher.

Re: On the bright side of the moon (10 reasons)

I only saw the game on Red Zone. Did drew have any turnovers other than the two INTs? The first was certainly his fault but it seems like the risk you take when you ask the QB to carry the team the way we're asking Drew to carry this team.

The second was definitely a bad decision as well but in that situation, I feel he deserves the benefit of the doubt. He had to try to push the ball downfield and the DB jumped the route because he knew Dew had no choice...

We had no other turnovers, besides the 2 picks...

Re: On the bright side of the moon (10 reasons)

The point of being a Saints fan is not to watch the team win (though the last few years have been a nice reprieve,) it's about coming together with the rest of the city, forgetting all of the crappy things that happen all week and rooting for some guys that represent our community. I think the worst times to be a Saints fan weren't the 2-14 and 3-13 seasons, but were when the Saints got a bunch of prima donnas that didn't like the city and complained all the time win or lose.
This Saints team is one of the best in our history not just because they have been the most successful, but because they have given so much back to the city, and they are mostly, individually very good people and representatives for us.
That said, we need to fix the damn defense somehow because I can live with a 2-14 season so long as both of those wins come against Atlanta.

PT is by far the best thing we have going in that department. Not a knock on our others, but what a game he was having.
