On the bright side of the moon (10 reasons)
1. Hartley made his field goal
2 .We kept our opponent from going over 40 3. Roby caught a pass 4. Brees broke 63% completion rate 5. Held a QB that threw for over 4000 yards last year to less than 260 yards passing. 6. 3rd Down efficiency was 53% 7. netted 486 total yards 8. Only 2 penalties 9. Did not lose a fumble 10. Thomas ran for 110 yards. If the following statement rubs you raw, maybe you should take a breath and look at things tomorrow. Our offense is still on step with last year. We lost but our offense is AS GOOD AS IT WAS LAST YEAR. |

A new member "aintasinner" made a good point.
So I ask? If the coin were flipped, and the Saints ran off after Katrina how would we feel? If they did nothing but 8itch, moan and cry to the media about their dome being in bad shape... how would we feel? We owe them a little more loyalty.... no? |

Haven't watched the game yet going to watch later but;
Held opponent under 40 - 35 points ain't that pretty Brees turning the ball over like there's no tomorrow And our D is shoddy, we haven't got any money to fix them due to 100 million dollar man We need to fix this fast |

Yes those are very good things to build on, were not done and are not out of this yet.
If we can hold on the passes, get td's instead of FG. Just imagine what if... |

Also, Brees is still on track for Unitas' record unless I'm mistaken.

9-7. G-men took a girl that ugly to the dance and they STILL let them in!
We're not out of this thing yet, but boy I hope the D figures out Spags scheme a little faster, they're definitely making me nervous... |

I am banking on more success against a less dynamic quarterback. They'll get it figured out
