this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; From what we saw in the Preseason he looked like the best DT we had on the team. Now during the regular season I have only see him take 1 snap (and he made the tackle on the play). What ...

Hicks?
From what we saw in the Preseason he looked like the best DT we had on the team. Now during the regular season I have only see him take 1 snap (and he made the tackle on the play). What I really don't understand is Tom Johnson seems to be getting more playing time (passing situations Bunckley comes out, Johnson goes in).
Why, oh, why is Johnson getting playing time over Hicks. Vet or not Johnson has never done anything to impress and I think we can all agree that Hicks is the future at DT, but he needs playing time to develop. |
