Even if you're "Old School," you might want to see this as well.
You cannot appreciate how far this franchise has come UNLESS you are aware of the pain of the past. Many of us have followed the Saints since it first game in 1967. But as time goes on, it's obvious that fewer & fewer of the older fans are still around. My dad died at age 56, and never got to see the Saints make the playoffs (he passed in '84). But mom lived long enough for the Saints to win SB XLIV (...she passed away 1 week later). Anyway, if you have only heard bits & pieces of the Saints' history, take a look at these video clips. WWL did a good job, and I think you'll appreciate it. And if your kids & grandkids are also Saints' fans, when you have the time... have them view it as well. The video goes over the troubled past (of the "Aints"), and takes you to the point where the Saints FINALLY made the playoffs in 1987. Can I get a WhoDat?
