Sean Payton was calling plays as head coach. I'm not buying that the guys we have are over-worked.
We clearly have the problems: 1) We don't have the horses up front to run Spags' scheme, and it appears he may be sticking to his guns rather than adjust accordingly. 2) We miss Sean Payton more than any of us want to admit. |

I must admit that I was completely wrong about this team being able to coast on autopilot without Payton.
I used to think coaching played about a 30 to 40 percent role in a teams success. I under-estimated coaching altogether. And trust me, I am probably in the minority when I claim coaches have even that much influence on a team's success. |
