Carter Out...now what
Welp...here's exactly what we DIDN'T need. Looks like Carter will be out at least 2 games, and he can't participate in training camp. Freakin lovely. Can Hawthorne really step up and play? I guess, whether we like it or not, we're about to find out. When will the curse on this team finally end? :(

Carter Out...now what
I don\'t think this is so much of the \'ol curse thing as is just getting what you see. No question that Carter has talent but when you sign a guy with his background then you gotta expect things like this. Only thing that scares me is that he\'s not the only one on the team with a questionable background. Let\'s just hope they all don\'t screw up at the same time or else will look like a scrub team with all the replacements.

I agree with WC, everone wants to look the other way when you sign someone with a questionable background. This should have been expected. Look for the Saints to try to sign a replacement when camp starts. :calim:

Carter Out...now what
There have been players in the league with problems that have overcome them and been very good players in the league. As a fan we want to bash the team for bringing in a guy with past problems. Cris Carter kicked his habits and became a future hall of famer same with Brett Farve. The only way to find out is to take a chance. His contract has help for the Saints just in case this happened. We took a chance on a player and for now looks like it didnt work out. Only time will tell but I dont think it has hurt that much. Management should have had a back up plan.
