I agree Willie Jackson has been a workhorse over the past 2 years. He stepped up when there were injuries or through the Albert Connell garbage. But even after 2000 the Saints aspired to replace him with Connell. Again they let him walk out and go to Atlanta of all places. We all knew that Jackson was A Brooks favorite target. So why did they let him go? They must see something that we don\'t see. He may be the next Saint in Falcon uniform to come back and bite us in the rear. :casstet:

Im sorry, but I have to disagree with both of you . When you draft Stallworth and sign Pathon you cant bring Jackson back. The saints were looking to improve team speed and they did that. Bringing Jackson back doesnt help you speed. Willie Jackson dropped a lot of passes also. He made the spectaculor plays but missed a lot of easy balls. I think the big reason Ricky was traded was to open up the big play ability of Duece, same with Jackson. Thank you for 2 good years and good luck to you Willie but the saints did the right thing on this decision.
