But brees' team friendly deal proved to be everything but team friendly, now we have a frail O line, and battered and slow receiving corp and underachieving 100 million dollar man
Perfectly said, Drew made his own problems. Now the Saints will be bargain basement shopping like Barrett Rudd

Re: Colston contract a mistake?

The Saint problems have precious little to do with Nicks being in Tampa!

No head coach and injuries are reasons 1 and 1a why!

His performance this year hasn't been that of a 100 million dollar QB
Absolute BS. His contract made room to sign more players, had he signed the FT, there would have been less room.

Do a little research.

Drews contract this year $3M

Had he signed $16.3 M

And no contract was put in front of him to sign before he was tagged. Once he was tagged, no one else could be tagged this year.

Watching Colston today is painfull. All he can do is limp around on that foot injury. Unless you're betting on them, these games are meaningless. Why aren't we sitting Marques until he gets better or, with an injury that takes so long to heal, put him on IR??

A 60% healthy Colston is better than most of our other options.

Re: Colston contract a mistake?

this thread is a joke, the problem with the saints is that we have the worst play calling in the league. on that first and goal after the penalty to raji and we don't even try to run it, that ingram toss was so poorly executed a pop warner team could have defended it, not like we have jimmy graham either...the team is playing better, but we don't have SP, so it's like watching a bunch of 15 year olds run a house hold..no dad to whoop everyones ass.

Re: Colston contract a mistake?

This is where I eat my words, Colston was a beast and at this point worth every penny. Need more games from him like that, but others have to contribute as well and they did. Coaching decisions may have cost the Saint's this game.
SORRY COLSTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
